Some Of The Best

Some of the Best Group of Guys you will ever meet. Very sweet to fans. This group of guys put on the BEST Kiss tribute show ever. I have seen them 2 times now in Monteagle, TN and had the greatest times! One hell of a show! I gave your web site out to some of the fans there so they could sign your guestbook and gave them my myspace so they could see some of the pics I took. Love you guys! Thanks for another great show!

He Loved It!

My seven year old son and I saw your show Thursday night at the Riverside. He loved it and can't stop talking about it. After the show, he was first in line for you guy's to autograph a picture for him. Thanks so much for being so kind. It meant so much to him.

Fantastic!

I grew up listening to Kiss, and when you guys came to Laughlin, NV I really wasn't interested in seeing you guys, because I knew nobody could pull off Kiss but Kiss. I ended up going to the show. You guys were fantastic! You guys blew me away. I thought I was listening to the "Kiss Alive!" album. You looked and sounded like Kiss. Peter's drum solo was so Peter Criss I couldn't believe it!(You need to do "Hard Luck Woman") Ace's vocals on "Shock Me" were perfect. Gene and Paul - you guys kept the show going. I think you
guys are the new Kiss. Thanks for a great show. I'm glad I went.

Really Impressed
I have wanted to see Kiss since I was little. I was really blown away when I won tickets from 98.3 cause I probably wont get to see the real Kiss. I was really impressed that you guys have taken the time to learn Kiss's moves and everything and then get Kiss permission to act like them, man talk about a Dream come true. Thanks for taking out the time to sign the picture. I was really impressed by how you guys took the time to actually take pictures and talk to all the fans, next time I will take my camera. I hope to see you guys soon and keep on putting on a hell of a show. I could have rocked all night. Keep rocking.

P.S. I think it was Gary's woman who was there with ya'll that night and I just wanna say thank you to her also for being so sweet to us when we met you guys after the concert for pictures.

Out On The Streets For A Concert
The KISS Army Invades 102.7 in Terre Haute once more….or

“Out on the streets …for a concert”

There is a historical land marker on the corner of Wabash Avenue and 7th Street in downtown Terre Haute. In the early days of cross-country travel (by horse and wagon) Terre Haute benefited by its location and this intersection became known as the “Crossroads of America.” This historical intersection would bring KISS fans together once more to celebrate their city’s place in rock and roll history.

Thirty one years ago this November, KISS came to town to Hulman Center to finalize the complete take over of WVTS-FM in Terre Haute finishing off what the KISS Army started months ago. The call letters have changed but it was still 102.7 FM in Terre Haute, Indiana at the first annual Monster’s Ball

Because of past military operations it wouldn’t be necessary to surround radio station 102.7 FM due to the remnants of 1975’s occupation. The Monster Ball as it was called was promoted by 102.7’s Morning Buzz, Chris Carter and Doug Edge. This weekend was also Indiana State University’s Homecoming. They closed the downtown city streets of Terre Haute so they could have “ a rock and roll party tonight.” Attendees were encouraged to wear costumes for a trip to New Orleans and other prizes. A portion of the proceeds would benefit the United Way and the American Cancer Society.

The evening started off with two promising new acts, Blackmaker and Webster Street who heated things up for the headliners, the Original KISS Army Tribute Band. Jim Seda, Gary Stevens, Mike Sivo and Val Popovic took the fans back to 1975 and threw in some later KISS classics to wow the KISS Army faithful. I was amused when someone told me that the band had played at the Playboy Mansion! There’s one place I’d like to see a KISS Expo… Keith? Florida club circuit, DJ Sisco, kept the night moving in between bands with his unique style.

It was too spooky for me meeting and talking with lifelong Terre Haute residents who were now bringing younger, newer, KISS fans to witness a pretty faithful imitation of what we witnessed from 1975 to 1998. (KISS has played the Hulman Center 8 times during that period).

Usually my KISS sing-a longs are confined to the privacy of my car on the way to and from work or in my shower. I don’t feel it necessary to subject others to this. So I was extremely reluctant to say the least when the Original KISS Army band drafted me to go onstage to finish “Rock and Roll All Nite” with them. So much for the volunteer army.

Hopefully the video won’t resurface any time soon.

It was great to see the Terre Haute media finally embrace the city’s place in rock and roll history. This same sentiment was echoed to me by fans all evening. I want to thank Chris, Doug, the Original KISS Army band, Ellis Law, Sullivan Automotive, Elyse Evans from the local NBC TV affiliate WTWO- TV 2 and all of the fans that came out. Proof again that KISS fans are the greatest. Check out the Original KISS Army tribute band if they are in your area. They won’t disappoint.
